With the Christmas holiday season fast approaching, Philips Hue, owned by Signify, broke out its new Festavia string lights. They work with HomeKit, the Home app, Siri voice commands and the Hue app.
They’re not cheap, however. A 65-foot cord with 250 LED lights goes for $160.

The string lights feature more than 16 million colors and pair with other Philips Hue lights.
You can string the 20-meter cord — that’s about 65 and a half feet — and its 250 mini LED lights on a Christmas tree, mantle, bannister or anywhere else, really.
You can use the Home app, the Hue app or Siri voice commands to turn the lights on or off or set them to a timer. You can also dim them or change the colors. The Hue app has also added a festive Sparkle effect and a new Scattered effect that distributes colors across the strand, the company said.
And integration with the Spotify music service lets the lights change in time with music.
You can get the new Festavia lights from Philips Hue as of November 15. Many Philips Hue products also appear on Amazon, so these probably will, too.
