While there are a lot of generic iPad cases, the new BookBook Cover from Twelve South is completely eye opening. It turns an iPad and keyboard into a leather-bound book. While making the tablet look medieval, it’s also protecting the valuable computer inside from bumps and blows.
Unlike the standard BookBook Case for iPad, this version has room to hold an Apple Magic Keyboard.
Twelve South BookBook Cover fits both iPad and keyboard
Twelve South intends iPad users to carry around their computer in a case that camouflages what it is. “BookBook disguises your iPad, keeping it hidden from itchy fingers even when it’s in plain sight,” says the accessory-maker.
The just-released BookBook Cover includes hard front and back plates with reinforced corners and a crush-proof spine. Soft micro-suede covers the interior to protect the iPad from scratches.
There’s also an internal pocket to hold documents and/or a charging cable.
The zippered cover makes room inside for Apple’s keyboard case. This, while a great way to type, isn’t overly protective of the iPad. Twelve South‘s case adds extra lawyers. And protective coloration, too.
The version of BookBook Cover for a 12.9-inch iPad Pro costs $79.99, while the 11-inch version is $69.99. Both are available now on TwelveSouth.com.
