Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” campaign continues with “A Dozen Eggs,” a whimsical short film captured entirely on iPhone 13 Pro by award-winning French film director Michel Gondry.
The one-minute video, like other films from the series, does a terrific job of showcasing iPhone’s camera performance and movie-making prowess.
A Dozen Eggs
“What happens when you take a dozen eggs, add iPhone 13 Pro and throw in the inventive mind of Michel Gondry?” reads Apple’s description of the film on YouTube. “The simple becomes cinema.”
A Dozen Eggs is a full minute of beautifully creative shots in various settings that highlight iPhone 13 Pro’s strengths in video recording. It features lots of bright and vibrant colors, some low-light scenes, and … chickens.
Gondry is better known for Hollywood feature films like The Science of Sleep, Be Kind Rewind, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, which bagged an Academy Award for best screenplay.
Given its short length, A Dozen Eggs could well be making its way to TV screens in the near future as part of Apple’s marketing campaign for iPhone 13. However, we are expecting something a little more festive for the holidays.
