Apple proves that demo videos don’t have to be dry and boring. It premiered a trio of short videos Sunday that show off the capabilities of the iPhone 13 Pro camera — and they’re actually fun to watch.
Plus, if you were just gifted Apple’s latest handset, watch all three and you might be inspired to go make a movie with it.
Detectives | Cinematic mode
The first iPhone 13 Pro camera video demonstrates its ability to shift focus automatically when recording video. It’s called Detectives — Cinematic mode, and shows a pair of police detectives on stakeout. One of them is blurred out, but is willing to do almost anything to come into focus.
Basement | Advanced low light video
The second demo video shows off the iOS handset’s capabilities when filming in low light. Basement | Advanced low light video features a woman following a mysterious voice from her basement. She is terrified to go farther — for an unexpected reason.
Pavel | 3x optical zoom
The third iPhone 13 Pro camera video demonstrates that its 3x optical zoom can add even more drama to movies. In Pavel | 3x optical zoom, is the title character really descending into madness? Or is it just a camera trick?
More from the iPhone 13 Pro camera
These short videos come on the heels of one that showcases the macro capabilities of the camera.
