If you’re thinking of starting a podcast — better hurry up, every single person on earth has one, it seems — you need a good USB microphone.
And now you can get a good deal on a popular one, as Amazon has knocked 30% off the regular price of a Blue Yeti Nano USB Microphone.
That’s a savings of $30 on what was already a pretty affordable mic for podcasters and streamers.

Podcasters and streamers: Get a Blue Yeti Nano USB Microphone for $30 off
The full name of the starter mic is a mouthful: Logitech for Creators Blue Yeti Nano USB Microphone. That’s because peripherals giant Logitech acquired Blue Microphones in 2018.
The Nano is well-liked for sound quality, though it’s not considered as good as the original Yeti, and it has fewer features. Higher-priced Yeti mics, seen in many Cult of Mac Setups articles, have three condensers. The Nano has two.
And the Nano features two pickup patterns, which makes it flexible. Cardioid picks up sound directly in front of the mic, which works well for podcasters. And omni picks up sound from all directions, which suits group calls or situations where you want ambient sound to creep in.
For managing sound, you also get volume and mute controls and a headphone jack on the mic. Plus the mic’s software supports Logitech’s G Hub software that comes with all its peripherals.
You can currently nab the Blue Yeti Nano USB Microphone for $69.99.
