Apple dropped its leather iPhone cases, but the Mujjo Full Leather Wallet Case with MagSafe is a brilliant alternative. It protects your valuable handset while also providing an easy way to carry credit cards and drivers license. Plus, it looks gorgeous while doing so.

A good case protects your iPhone without adding unnecessary bulk. An even better one adds style to the handset. And a great case goes above and beyond.
Mujjo’s offering is truly great. It looks amazing and provides space to hold three cards. But it’s not perfect — the basis design of a wallet case causes a problem.
I’m not surprised at the high quality of the product. I’ve been a fan of this company for many years, and nearly every iPhone I’ve owned has gone into a Mujjo case.

Apple dropped leather in favor of a new (controversial) FineWoven material. But the Mujjo Full Leather Wallet Case with MagSafe sticks with the tried and true. The result is a very professional-looking product. And the quality is top notch.
My case is dark tan. Other color choices include black and Monaco blue. Burgundy is also an option for some iPhone models.
Mujjo’s case fits my iPhone 15 Plus like a glove. It adds hardly anything to the size, and weighs only 1.5 ounces. I hardly notice when I have it on, and cases for smaller iPhones weigh even less.
Nevertheless, the case brings a surprising amount of protection. It covers all four corners of the handset, and the edges and buttons, too. I still remember the day I dropped my iPhone 12 while crossing a road. All that happened was that the leather of my Mujjo case got scuffed — the handset was unblemished.
And the case includes a protective, raised ridge around the outside of the iPhone display. Put the handset face down and it doesn’t rest on the screen, but on the case. That really helps reduce scratches.
That said, the button covers do make pressing the buttons noticeably harder.
There are openings in the leather for the camera, speakers and microphones. For iPhone 15 series users, the opening around the USB-C port is large enough for Apple’s cable, but some third-party cables I’ve tried have bulky plastic around the connector that won’t fit through the opening in the case.
It’s a case and a wallet
The case’s name makes it clear it’s also a wallet. That takes the form of a a single flap of leather very expertly stitched onto the back.
There is space for two or three cards. For me, that’s a drivers license and an Apple Card. Be careful you don’t stretch out the leather — temporarily stuff more into the pouch than you need and it won’t return to the original shape.
I’ve gone nearly cashless, and the convenience of having a place to carry around a credit card and drivers license is one of my favorite aspects of the Mujjo Full Leather Wallet Case with MagSafe.
MagSafe? Sort of.

MagSafe is right there in the name, but support for wireless charging is hit or miss with this case/wallet. The reason is probably obvious: any cards you carry around are held in the pouch between your iPhone and the charger.
In my testing, the case alone doesn’t interfere with powering up a handset. But add a single card and the connection becomes iffy. It almost always works with a horizontal charging puck but an elevated charging stand is more problematical. Two plastic cards or a titanium Apple Card block power from being transmitted.
The same goes for other MagSafe accessories, like stands. Cards cause connection problems.
You’ll either need to pull the cards out to replenish your iPhone, or depend on a cable instead, if your handset is in the Mujjo Full Leather Wallet Case with MagSafe.
Another option is to remove the case entirely. Although it fits around the iPhone firmly, it also slides off quite easily.
While a drawback, this limitation is one that affects all iPhone wallet cases. It’s not something Mujjo did wrong — it’s unavoidable.

I won’t tolerate a bulky iPhone case. Honestly, around the house I often carry the device naked because I prefer it to be as small and light as possible. But when I head out, the iPhone has to have extra protection. Part of what I like about Mujjo’s case is that adds so little to the heft of the handset but still guards it from damage.
And besides, it saves me from having to bring a wallet, too. Plus it looks great while doing so.

As much as I love this accessory, I have to lower the score because of the MagSafe limitation. It’s not Mujjo’s fault, but it still makes the case/wallet a bit less useful.
