Case in point: Insta360 just released its Go 3 action camera, which is about the size of your thumb when detached from its remote charging pod with flip LED screen.

Insta360 Go 3 action camera
Insta360 Go 3 is an update on the company’s popular Go 2 action camera. The new version can record up to 2.7K resolution (2729 x 1536p).
It’s designed to be quick and easy to use on the go. One press of a button on the front starts recording, even if the camera was turned off. And with Insta360’s Voice Control 2.0, you can stay hands-free with the camera through voice commands.
The camera records removed and fits into its Action Pod for extended battery life. With the pod, you get 173 minutes of shooting. The pod also includes a flip touchscreen with remote preview and control plus a quick menu of functions.
Smooth video through the magic of algorithms
The camera captures smooth video through FlowState Stabilization and 360 Horizon Lock algorithms. Time Shift, Slow Motion, PureShot HDR Photo and Timelapse functions help you get creative while editing videos.
And AI-powered editing tools are in the mix, too. They enhance how you edit footage on your iOS or Android smartphone.
The Insta360 GO 3 is rated to IPX8, or waterproof up to 16 feet. Action Pod is rated IPX4 (water resistant) with GO 3 installed.
