This marks Apple’s first rate increase for some of these services. Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman noted the increases on Twitter, and an Apple rep confirmed the price hikes.
Price increases in the United States are as follows (non-U.S. price increases will be commensurate with the currency used):
Apple TV+
- Monthly: $2 (to $6.99 per month)
- Annually: $20 (to $69 per year)
Apple Music
- Individual: $1 (to $10.99 per month)
- Family: $2 (to $16.99 per month)
Apple One subscription bundle
- Individual: $2 (to $16.95 per month)
- Family: $3 (to $22.95 per month)
- Premier: $3 (to $32.95 per month)
“The subscription prices for Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple One will increase beginning today,” an Apple spokesperson told 9to5Mac. “The change to Apple Music is due to an increase in licensing costs, and in turn, artists and songwriters will earn more for the streaming of their music.”

“We also continue to add innovative features that make Apple Music the world’s best listening experience,” the spokesperson said.
The monthly price of Apple TV+ was very low to begin with because the service launched with only a handful of shows and movies available. Since then, Cupertino has steadfastly added new original programming.
“Three years later, Apple TV+ is home to an extensive selection of award-winning and broadly acclaimed series, feature films, documentaries, and kids and family entertainment from the world’s most creative storytellers,” the spokesperson added.
