The new Moft Snap Float Folio raises the bar on iPad cases that also function as stands. Literally. It can be folded to lift the the iPad screen up to 3.6 inches.
If that’s not enough, the case/strand also folds into five other configurations to allow the iPad to be used in different ways.
Moft Snap Float Folio rises above rival iPad case/stands
iPad cases that also function as stands have been available for Apple’s tablet since it launched back in 2010. But Moft’s latest takes it to a new level.
The case doesn’t just prop up the display – the Snap Float Folio lifts the screen closer to eye level, making it easier to see and reducing neck strain. It’s ideal for use with a desktop keyboard, or when the iPad is being used as an external display for a desktop Mac.
And that’s only the start. Moft’s stand/case can be folded in other ways so the screen is propped up just a couple of inches off the desktop, or sit directly on the desktop. With another refolding, the tablet can be propped up lying almost flat for use as a drawing surface.
As a case, the Snap Float Folio wraps around the front and back of the iPad to protect it. Despite all its capabilities, the case weighs only 0.4 pounds.
It is made of imitation leather, and comes in black, gray or brown.
Coming very soon
The Moft Snap Float Folio is scheduled to launch before the end of October. There are versions for 12.9-inch iPad Pro ($69.99), 11-inch iPad Pro ($59.99), iPad Air ($59.99) and iPad mini ($39.99).
