Sennheiser is rolling out a new set of true wireless earbuds for fitness enthusiasts. The company said its Sport True Wireless buds include an Aware EQ passthrough setting that can reduce noises from your own body during exercise, such as your pounding heartbeat, your huffing and puffing, and your footsteps.

The German brand’s new Sport True Wireless earbuds include a system called Adaptable Acoustic. It allows you to choose between open and closed ear adapters and tweak equalizer settings to customize your sound for workouts. To block out external audio, you would combine the Focus EQ setting with the closed ear adapter.
You can adjust how much external sound you hear and create custom EQ presets in the Sennheiser Smart Control app. Three sizes of ear adapters and four fins help you find a good fit, too.
Sennheiser said the earbuds sport 7mm dynamic driver that offer “full bass and superior clarity without distortion.” They feature touch controls and voice assistant support.
The buds are compatible with Bluetooth 5.2. Several compatible audio codecs — SBC, AAC and aptX — help ensure you can connect the buds to a variety of devices.
With an IP54 rating, the earbuds resist dust, splashes and sweat. Sennheiser said the battery gives you up to nine hours of playback, plus an additional 18 hours with the charging case.
Sennheiser started taking pre-orders for the Sport True Wireless earbuds on Saturday. Shipping starts on May 3.
