iPhones traditionally come with white USB cables, but an unconfirmed report says they are about to become a lot more colorful. They’ll supposedly be matched to the hue of the handset.
And the quality of the cables will allegedly be improved, too.
Apple cables: Colorful at last
Apple’s computers are top-notch. The company builds iPhone, MacBook, etc., to rigorous standards using the best materials. As a result, they stand up to long years of use.
But Apple’s iPhone cables are not and do not. They’re cheaply made and wear out fairly quickly. Plus, they come only in white.
That will change with the iPhone 15 series, if a report from a tipster who goes by Majin Bu is correct. They posted images of USB-C cables in pink, blue and black and said, “This is supposed to be the iPhone 15 USB C cable.”
This is supposed to be the iPhone 15 USB C cable, I found this photo online but currently I can't trace the resource, so I can't be sure if it's true or not pic.twitter.com/bTILwlxxG5

A second source claims to have images of the iPhone 15 Pro cable in black from the Design Validation Test.
Woven USB-C iPhone cables … finally
The cables in all these images come with USB-C connectors. That’s because the European Union is forcing Apple to give up its proprietary Lightning connector.
The leaked pictures show cables covered in woven/braided cloth. This should make them more durable than previous iPhone cables, which are notorious for wearing out fairly quickly.
We won’t know for sure whether the cables coming with the iPhone 15 series will get a colorful upgrade until September, the traditional launch window for Apple’s high-end handsets.
