The SwapSolar, Bluetti’s very first “ecosystem,” pairs a power station with a portable fridge. The combo is designed to power up all your outdoor activities and keep your food and drinks chilled. But the Bluetti SwapSolar is currently heating up Indiegogo.

The crowd-funding campaign for SwapSolar — which combines the new MultiCooler (the world’s first portable refrigerator powered by lithium iron phosphate batteries) and the AC180T hot-swappable battery power station — launched Tuesday on Indiegogo and quickly eclipsed Bluetti’s $50,000 goal. There’s still plenty of time for you to get in on the deal, though, with multiple perks and discounts available for early backers.

Bluetti SwapSolar: A power station and portable fridge ‘ecosystem’

The SwapSolar power station and portable fridge is not just a one-function product. It’s an answer to your outdoor power needs, your quest to make ice anywhere, and your never-ending battle to keep things cool on long trips — all rolled into one. While the AC180T power station ensures an independent outdoor power supply off the grid, the MultiCooler’s 3-in-1 design provides efficient cooling for food and beverages.

“We want users to savor the joy of outdoor life,” said Bluetti rep James Ray in a press release Tuesday. “SwapSolar is your ticket to three-to-six days of happy camping. Power up and keep your food fresh at the same time!”

Bluetti found big-time success funding its AC500 power station on Indiegogo. So it’s perhaps no surprise that the power products provider chose that same route for funding its innovative new SwapSolar system.

So, what makes Bluetti’s new power station and portable fridge combo so special?

Meet Bluetti’s triple-threat MultiCooler

If you try to imagine a fridge that does it all, you just might picture Bluetti’s MultiCooler. It packs ice-making, refrigeration and freezing into a sleek design. Its 42-quart (40 liter) capacity can hold about 60 cans of soda. It’s wheeled and highly portable. To the naked eye, it looks a lot like your typical beach-bound cooler.

And yet it’s not. The MultiCooler’s fridge features a wide temperature range of -4 degrees to 68 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 degrees to +20 degrees Celsius). Its powerful compressor ensures rapid cooling from 86 degrees to 32 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees to 0 degrees Celsius) in just 15 minutes. Plus, the built-in icemaker takes just minutes to produce crystal-clear ice cubes for your soft drinks and cocktails.

Smart, portable design

Bluetti made MultiCooler easy to move around as needed, like on a camping trip. Weighing approximately 52.9 pounds (25kg), it’s designed for easy lifting and features side grooves. The wheels and drawbar make for easy transport even with a full load.

On rough terrain, 45-degree tilt protection helps safeguard the fridge/freezer/icemaker. In the car, an optional slider provides stability. Wherever you use it, the MultiCooler operates quietly, at 30dB in refrigeration mode and just a little louder in ice-making mode (45dB).

MultiCooler portable fridge puts controls at your fingertips

Like other Bluetti products, MultiCooler proves easy to use. It features an intuitive LCD touchscreen and a few simple buttons.

What’s more, the fridge’s Bluetooth connectivity lets you manage fridge functions with the Bluetti app. It helps you monitor temperatures in real time and adjust settings such as Eco mode and Self-Clean mode.

4 ways to charge this portable refrigerator/freezer/icemaker

Thanks to functionality allowing for four different charging methods, the MultiCooler portable fridge can always keep your groceries cool. You can plug it directly into a wall outlet or your car while making ice. (That’s a first in the industry, according to Bluetti.)

And if you don’t want to drain your car battery, you can use one of the AC180T batteries to charge the fridge for up to six days. Connected to solar panels, it will run nonstop as long as the sun shines.

The new AC180T power station introduces a removable battery design that allows you to replace its two B70 batteries (716.8Wh) from the top. It uses long-lasting and safe lithium iron phosphate, aka LFP, batteries that last for 3,000-plus life cycles and can be swapped out 5,000-plus times.

Because Bluetti also sells these batteries separately, you can choose multiple battery packs to suit your needs. For longer trips and emergencies, just swap them out for instant access to full power — anytime, anywhere.

To charge the batteries, plug the AC180T directly into a wall outlet for fast 1,440W AC charging. Alternatively, you can use solar panels for a constant power supply.
