Ahead of the Chinese New Year on January 22, 2023, Apple has released a limited-edition AirPods Pro in the country. The charging case of the earbuds features a Year of the Rabbit engraving.
Besides the engraving, the special edition AirPods Pro retail box features the Year of the Rabbit graphics.
Special-edition AirPods Pro is the same as regular AirPods Pro
Apple will sell the limited-edition AirPods Pro in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau through its online and retail stores. The earbuds are available in limited quantities until stock last. Apple is also restricting customers to a maximum of two units. In Hong Kong, Apple is selling the special edition AirPods Pro for HK$1,849, while in China, they are available for RMB 1,099.

This is not the first time Apple has launched limited-edition products to celebrate the Chinese New Year. In 2021 and 2022, the company launched a special edition of the first-gen AirPods Pro to mark the occasion.
Get discounts on Apple products for the Chinese New Year
Alongside the special AirPods Pro 2, Apple is providing discounts of up to 1,000 yen on products purchased through its online store in China. The offer runs from December 30 through January 2, with the discount applicable on selected products like the iPhone 13, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and iPad Air. Depending on which device you buy, you can save up to RMB 600 on them.

Get a limited-edition AirTag in Japan
To celebrate the upcoming Japanese New Year, Apple has launched a limited-edition AirTag. Similar to the limited-edition AirPods Pro, the special AirTag has a rabbit engraving to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit.
Additionally, the company is bundling a gift card with purchases made through its online store in the country between December 30 and January 2.
