Apple Music is now available on Roku streaming devices. Starting Monday, subscribers to the Apple’s streaming music service can listen on any Roku.
This adds to the list of extensive devices that can play Apple Music.

Stream Apple Music to your Roku
Streaming players like Roku can handle music as easily as video. And this takes advantage of any high-quality speakers in a TV setup. Roku already supported Spotify, Amazon Music, Pandora and more.
And now Apple Music joins the list. This service offers over 90 million songs and 30,000 expert-curated playlists. The Apple Music app also allows users to watch music videos in 4K.
There are no advertisements. It’s $9.99 per month, or $14.99 per month for a family. Roku promises the necessary app will be available to download from the Roku ChannelStore on Monday.
Of course, Apple’s music service is already available for iPhone, Mac, HomePod, etc., but it’s also playable on Windows and Android, Sonos speakers, Amazon Echo, Google Nest and smart TVs. And advantage of Roku over other options is low price: Roku Express is only $24.
More cooperation options
This isn’t the first collaboration between the iPhone-maker and Roku. Most notably, the Apple TV application is available for Roku streaming players so users can watch Apple TV+ shows and movies.
And many Roku players are compatible with AirPlay 2, so iPhone, Mac and iPad can wirelessly stream video and audio to the devices and the TVs they’re connected to.
