Searching for a new house with someone who’s not right next to you just got a lot easier. The Zillow app on iPhone or iPad now supports SharePlay, so multiple people can look at the same home listings simultaneously on different devices.

Use it with loved ones or your real estate agent.

SharePlay makes the Zillow app more useful

Online house hunting just makes sense. The Zillow app offers for-sale house and rental listings, including photos, descriptions and filters for school districts, pricing, pets, HOAs, and more. But it’s not always possible to search when you and your partner, spouse or housemate are in the same room. That’s where SharePlay comes in.

During a FaceTime call, Zillow app users can start a SharePlay session in order to search together, explore maps and view listing photo galleries almost as though they were right next to each other.

“The ability to browse together on separate mobile phones allows people to take their Zillow surfing to the next level,” says David Beitel, Zillow chief technology officer. “It’s also a great new way for real estate agents to connect with customers and guide them in their home-shopping journeys.”

The Zillow app can be downed from the App Store. It’s free to use. SharePlay is available to anyone on an iPhone or iPad running iOS 15.1 or iPadOS 15.1 or later.
